DJ TYCo – Edmonton, Canada
With his humble beginnings originating within the underground music scene of Vancouver Island at the age of 15, Tyler Collins (TYCo) is certainly no stranger to the industry. With a lifetime of musical influence, and over a decade of Djing under his belt, TYCo has established himself as one of the most sought-after and successful DJs in Western Canada. His talents have not been sheltered by such borders however, as he has traveled to many other destinations across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. At each one of his destinations, TYCo developed the ability to cross barriers and communicate with people through one common language – his music.
TYCo has recently taken over the radio scene, as the resident Mix Show DJ for the #HOTMIX at Noon & the 107-Minute HOTMIX for HOT 107 – one of Edmonton’s top radio stations. As well, TYCo has just signed a residency with Hollywood Hamilton’s Remix Top 30 as their newest resident DJ – making him the only Canadian resident DJ on the show broadcasted worldwide!
On the weekends, you can catch TYCo spinning live at two of Edmonton’s hottest nightclubs, SET Nightclub (on Fridays) and Twist Ultra Lounge (on Saturdays) as their official resident DJ.
TYCo has been fortunate enough to work alongside such artists as: Bad Boy Bill, Wolfgang Gartner, Tommy Trash, Ian Carey, Fedde le Grande, Felix Cartel, Stoneface and Terminal, Moguai, Miles Dyson, Nadia Ali, Flo Rida, Clinton Sparks, Jazzy Jeff, Pitbull, DJ VICE, DJ Spryte just to name a few…
There is NO end in sight for TYCo anywhere in the near future, and neither him nor his loyal fans, would want it any other way.
DJ IZK – McAllen, TX
Isaac Garcia (DJ IZK) still remembers sitting on the rooftop of his parents home in Premont,Texas listening to mixshows broadcasted over 80 miles away not knowing that his hard work and dedication would land him a gig on the same station he had listened to growing up. IZK has humble beginnings playing at local bars and parties until he was offered his first gig as headlining DJ at a nightclub across the border in Reynosa, Mexico, which was filled with college students on the weekends. The club had a capacity of 3000 and IZK quickly gained popularity in the area. After playing in another country for 4 years he moved on to a residency at San Antonio’s then new hotspot, Club Level. He earned the title of “Best Club DJ” which he won consecutively from 2001 to 2003. Over the years IZK has shared the stage with world-renowned DJs such as Tiesto, ATB, Paul Van Dyke, Bad Boy Bill, Micro, DJ Dan, Richard Vission, Dj Irene and Chuckie. Having played over 2700 gigs in his career, he has learned to light up crowds of all sizes from 10 to 15,000 and prides himself on pushing musical boundaries. IZK is also a producer/remixer with remixes released on Neutone, Sony Music Australia, Movement Music and has done a ton of personal bootlegs. Currently he is the Mix Show Coordinator for 107.9 Mix FM (KVLY) and can be heard weeknights on “The Nightly Hook Up” from 6:00 to 10PM and Saturdays on “The Street Mix” from 7PM to 12AM. When not on the road, you can catch him Friday and Saturday nights as Resident DJ for Tri Bar in McAllen, TX. The fuel behind his passion for music and moving a crowd comes from a little saying he learned from his father, who told him “find something you love doing so you don’t have to work a day of your life.” He can proudly say he doesn’t work, but rather lives his dream each time he hits the decks or creates a remix.
DJ Perry – Phoenix, AZ
MACK – Miami, FL
Starting out at age fifteen Mack found his first job at a local radio station in central Pennsylvania. According to Mack, once he got a taste of what it was like to be an on air talent/DJ there was nothing else he wanted to be. Mack would then go onto legendary Top 40 radio station Q102 Philadelphia, where he practiced his skills amongst some of the radio’s greatest. Mack also said learning from these influential people was an eye opening experience. “I can’t tell you how many nights I slept in the studio waiting to do my shift.” Mack is one of the premiere afternoon talents in Miami with a weekly show airing Monday-Saturday from 2p-7p on the legendary radio station Y100. The show can also be heard in multiple cities across the U.S. and on the iHeart Radio app. Working with brands such as Ciroc, PGA, Trump Organization and Cadillac he’s become a taste maker in Miami and abroad.
DJ Richard J. Dalton – Seattle, WA
Richard J. Dalton is a Seattle deejay. But not a normal deejay, if Seattle Weekly has it right. They’ve gone as far as giving him the title of “Best Hope for High-School Freaks” (in addition to “Best Club DJ”). Outrageous behavior and scandal is encouraged on the dance floor when Richard J. Dalton is on the decks. Don’t expect anything normal in the club on a night you’re there with Dalton. The energy builds to a level most dare not imagine. It’s like Twisted Sister and Aqua having a baby, with SpongeBob as the god father. Dalton himself is typically rocking some kind of feather boa or mutant ninja outfit. And the music—the term “guilty pleasure” comes to mind.
When not spinning at Neighbours, the club that Dalton has his Seattle residency, he can be found at the legendary C89.5 FM, mixing live, and messing with the heads of commuters. On the weekends, he is featured weekly on “Hollywood Hamilton’s Remix Top 30 Countdown”, which is syndicated on hundreds of stations across the world, including KTU 103.5 in New York City. “I’m a freak and proud of it! Let your freak flag fly!”, says Dalton.
